A better life begins at home.  Parents and their children have a greater chance of living fulfilling and healthy lives when they have a strong home life supporting them.  This is the message behind Florida Home Partnership, Inc.’s inaugural Homeownership Month event, the South Shore Home & Healthy Families Expo 2008.  Featuring exhibits by approximately 30 local organizations, attendees will have access to a variety of services including: home purchase and financing, insurance, mortgage assistance, home care and renovation, family and social services, and hurricane preparedness and recovery.  Informational presentations covering topics in credit management, financial security, energy efficiency, and hurricane education will provide attendees with the knowledge and resources they need to ensure their families have the opportunity to build strong, encouraging homes.
