We're proud to be an Energy Star Partner and we recently received Energy Star Certification for our model home and construction office at Hidden Creek. Homeowners in Hidden Creek and all future communities will be educated on the water and energy-saving features as well as the green building features incorporated into their homes. FHP also provides a comprehensive educational program before, during and after the completion of your home about these features and how to maintain them.

Members of our team are working closely with the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) which provides a statewide green building standard that defines, promotes and encourages sustainable efforts with environmental and economic benefits.

In 2009 we began a partnership with Southwest Florida Water Management District and we've committed to utilizing their criteria for Florida Water StarSM Gold (FWSG), which is a new comprehensive water conservation program.  This voluntary certification program for builders encourages water efficiency in household appliances, plumbing fixtures, irrigation systems and landscaping by also partnering with the UF Cooperative Extension, Florida Yards and Neighbors and using the “A Guide to Florida Friendly Landscaping” handbook.
