Ms. Martinez joined FHP in 1999 where she manages three loan specialists for meeting FHP’s home sales & homebuyer counseling goals which includes preparing the entire loan docket for the self-help housing program funded by USDA which is achieving a 99% approval rating. Ms. Martinez conducts extensive credit counseling and guides applicants from initial in-take through loan approval and the coordination of the closing where she ensures all appropriate funding is available which includes preparing documentation for the families to receive down payment assistance through various local and state programs.  Ms. Martinez also arranges and conducts homebuyer education expos which include the development of marketing materials. Ms. Martinez came to FHP as a homebuyer through the self-help program.

Ms. Martinez serves as the Treasurer of the Family Council for the Family Support & Resource Center since 2007. In addition, she is a member of the Bayou Pass Crime Watch Committee.
